Career and Background:

Kyler Stephens joined Brown | Miller in September 2025 as a Financial Advisor, bringing experience from wealth management firms in Northern Virginia and College Station, Texas. As a former collegiate basketball player, Kyler brings a deep understanding of the financial complexities faced by coaches, athletic leaders, and high-performing professionals. He works closely with college basketball coaches, athletic directors, general managers, and high-net-worth individuals to navigate the unique financial challenges that come with dynamic, high-pressure careers.

At Brown | Miller, Kyler specializes in investment management and tax-aware planning designed to preserve and grow wealth through periods of transition and opportunity. His work often focuses on investment management, cash-flow strategy, multi-state tax planning, retirement optimization, and building a durable long-term plan that supports both current success and long-term financial security.

  • Kyler still enjoys an active lifestyle through basketball, martial arts, golf, hiking, and outdoor exercise.
  • Kyler is an active member of the Texas A&M Association of Former Students and the DC Aggies Club, and is also a Dallas Mavericks fanatic.
  • Kyler and his wife, Monica, welcomed their first child, Charlotte, in January 2026.
  • Kyler’s favorite vacations were his first trip to Europe through the Swiss Alps and Northern Italy, and his most recent trip to the forests of Costa Rica. He also enjoys family trips to Cabo, Mexico.
